The Great Glen Way

Sorry about the thin posting since my session with Sarah Jane and Paul. It’s just as well I did that when I did as I was away all the following week walking the Great Glen Way between Fort William and Inverness (73 miles) and the day I was travelling back Sarah Jane delivered! The way...

Eider

To my shame I didn’t actually know it was an Eider. I wondered if it was a black and white duck? I suppose it is a kind of black and white duck. This is a male, the females are brown. A snatched shot from the Gourock to Dunoon ferry just before it left yesterday morning.

Austin

Well, you have been good haven’t you! And since I promised yesterday I suppose you’ll want to see pictures of Austin, Richards dog from yesterday’s shoot. Panasonic LX3

I have treated myself to a new camera this Yule. I recently bought a little Nikon S210 to use as a carry around camera. I persisted with it for a while but really hated the lack of responsiveness and also hated the shockingly poor menu system. It therefore went on ebay and with it now...

Tosh and Rosie

Well I thought I’d start my blog with two lovely cats belonging to friends. Rosie is very elderly and the haughty facial expression is entirely characteristic of her. Tosh is a younger cat with a real wildness about him, but he’s mellowing. Both taken in indoor tungsten light with my Canon 40 D and Sigma...
